The Forgotten Blueprint of Elara’s Zenith

Elara’s Zenith, a massive Victorian mansion completed in 1890, was built on challenging, elevated terrain for the reclusive but powerful architect, Sir Alistair Elara. The house was intended to be his lasting masterpiece. The house was Abandoned suddenly in 1899 after a minor, but highly publicized, section of the roof collapsed. The official explanation was “poor maintenance,” but the abrupt closure created a local scandal. The architectural core of the mystery centers on the Master Draftsman, Mr. Julian Vane, who was responsible for all final blueprints and specifications. Vane’s final documents—the Material Specifications, Structural Blueprints, and Foundation Reports—should have provided a definitive trail for the collapse. Instead, the surviving archive is a study in contradiction, with large, systematic blocks of documentation entirely Missing and the few remaining records pointing to an Unaccounted design flaw that was purposefully Forgotten from the official account.

The Unaccounted Structural Blueprints

The Master Draftsman was required to maintain meticulous Foundation Reports and keep sequential Structural Blueprints to track the construction process. The fact that the Structural Blueprints—which would identify the exact points of stress and weakness in the roof structure—are entirely Missing is a profound historical Forgotten gap. Furthermore, the complete Missing status of the Material Specifications—which would have certified the quality and type of materials used—proves that the material record was also entirely suppressed. The only surviving documents are the few ambiguous Foundation Reports with their “Unaccounted” blanks and the scattering of torn Material Specification fragments, which suggest the Master Draftsman abandoned his work mid-process. The systematic removal of the core documents proves that the entire record of the collapse was deliberately Forgotten, ensuring the specific circumstances and design liability remained Unaccounted from the official record.
